vAI Studio

vAI Studio is a next-generation computational design suite where geometry is generated by algorithms — not manual CAD steps — driven by user-specified variables and field-based computation. It is built on the open-source PicoGK (www.picogk.org) hybrid modeling kernel. It replaces opaque, binary 3D file formats with an open, relational database architecture that serves as the authoritative single source of truth. Every design feature is backed by user-defined parameters, human-readable rationale, and software-generated C# code that compiles directly into volumetric signed distance fields (SDFs) and OpenVDB sparse grids.

vAI Studio is built on the open-source PicoGK computational engine and the LEAP 71 ShapeKernel. By leveraging a voxel-based volumetric representation, PicoGK delivers exceptionally reliable computational geometry operations—including complex booleans and offsetting—without the boundary representation failures of traditional CAD.
